Privacy policy
How NSZ Group (Pty) Ltd collects, uses and protects personal information, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Last updated 10 October 2026.
1. Who we are
NSZ Group (Pty) Ltd (“NSZ Group”, “we”, “us”) is a web and IT services company based in Cape Town, South Africa. We are the responsible party for personal information collected through nszgroup.co.za.
2. Information we collect
- Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number, business name and project details when you use our contact form, email us or message us on WhatsApp.
- Project and billing information: requirements, timelines, budgets and invoicing details when you become a client. Card payments are handled by third-party payment providers; we never store full card details.
- Technical information: our hosting provider records standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and reliability.
3. Cookies and tracking
This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers and shares your IP address with Google when you visit.
4. How we use your information
- To reply to enquiries and prepare quotes.
- To deliver, host and support the services you hire us for.
- To send invoices and keep records required by South African law.
We process personal information on the basis of your consent, to perform a contract with you, to comply with legal obligations, or for our legitimate business interests, as allowed by POPIA.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run our business, such as our website host (Netlify), email provider, payment processors and, where a project requires it, the database provider used to build your system (Supabase). We also share information when the law requires it. Some of these providers store data outside South Africa; we only use providers with adequate data-protection safeguards.
6. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information only as long as needed to respond and follow up. Client and financial records are kept for as long as tax and company law require.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and reputable hosting providers. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. If a data breach affects your information, we will notify you and the Information Regulator as POPIA requires.
8. Your rights
Under POPIA you may ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, correct or delete it, object to its processing, or withdraw consent. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za.
